The Brief
Few things can interrupt an ordinary day as completely as a rainbow.
They arrive after bad weather, require no explanation, and make adults point at the sky like children. For a few minutes, color becomes the most important thing in the landscape.
That felt like a good reason to make it the theme this week.
Color is one of the first things we notice in clothes and one of the hardest things to use well. What happens when several things compete for your eye at once? Chaos, perhaps. But sometimes, when the balance is just right, it produces something more magical than anything that could have been imagined.
