Ovestruz is a Brazilian streetwear brand rooted in the urban subculture of São Paulo. Its aesthetic features brutalist silhouettes, monochromatic palettes, and typography inspired by pichação graffiti. The label represents a raw, industrial ethos, translating the visual language of the city's periphery into contemporary garment design.
History
Founded in São Paulo, the brand emerged from the underground pichação scene to bridge the gap between street art and runway fashion. It gained prominence through the Casa de Criadores platform and later debuted at São Paulo Fashion Week in 2021 as part of the Sankofa project. This transition marked the integration of peripheral identities and marginalized urban expressions within the country's formal fashion industry.
