Jeremy Scott

Jeremy Scott is a high-fashion brand characterized by pop art influences, kitsch aesthetics, and bold consumerist imagery. It represents a camp-inspired subculture that merges streetwear with avant-garde humor. The ethos focuses on subverting traditional luxury through the use of cartoons, bright colors, and playful silhouettes.

History

Jeremy Scott launched his eponymous label in Paris in 1997 after graduating from Pratt Institute. He gained early recognition for his unconventional runway shows and use of non-traditional materials. Scott became a central figure in the early 2000s for bridging the gap between celebrity culture and high fashion. His long-term collaboration with Adidas introduced winged footwear to mainstream fashion. Scott later served as the creative director for Moschino from 2013 to 2023.
