History

Graphic designers Markus and Daniel Freitag founded the company in 1993 in Zurich. Inspired by the heavy traffic outside their apartment, they developed a messenger bag using discarded industrial materials. This approach established the brand as a pioneer in the upcycling movement. The original F13 TOP CAT model is included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
