History
Rony Vardi founded Catbird in 2004 as a storefront in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Originally a multi-brand boutique, the company shifted focus to its own jewelry line. The brand is noted for the early 2010s popularity of thin, stackable rings and knuckle rings. All jewelry is manufactured in its Brooklyn-based studio. Catbird also introduced the Forever Bracelet, a permanent, welded jewelry item that became a widely adopted concept in the contemporary jewelry landscape.
