CPCM

CPCM, or Crafts and Permaculture Country Mall, is a Japanese brand focused on a craft-centric lifestyle. The aesthetic combines American vintage influences with traditional craftsmanship and sustainable design principles. It represents a subculture that values artisanal production and the integration of organic elements into a modern urban wardrobe.

History

Founded in 2015 by stylist Takashi Kumagai in collaboration with the PAL Group, CPCM launched as a large-scale concept store in Harajuku. It integrated traditional folk crafts with contemporary apparel designs. The brand was part of a mid-2010s movement in Tokyo that prioritized artisanal goods and global vintage sourcing. Although the original flagship location closed in 2017, the name continues to operate as an apparel label under the parent company's portfolio.
