Geschiedenis

Founded in 1935 by Ben Davis and his father Simon, the company has deep roots in American garment history. Ben’s grandfather, Jacob Davis, originally partnered with Levi Strauss to patent the copper-riveted pocket. During the late twentieth century, the brand transitioned from functional labor apparel to a cultural staple. It gained significant prominence within the 1990s hip-hop scene and skateboarding communities, maintaining a reputation for resilient, oversized silhouettes.
