The collaboration debuted in 2021, bringing Yosuke Aizawa’s design philosophy to a global audience. White Mountaineering, established in 2006, focuses on the integration of design, utility, and technology. This partnership marked a significant moment in the mainstreaming of technical apparel, often termed gorpcore. It applied complex pattern-making and layered aesthetics to mass-produced garments.
