Modegeschiedenis
Balthasar Merz established the original factory in the Swabian Alps in 1911. After the company ceased production, Peter Plotnicki discovered a vintage Henley shirt at a flea market and revived the brand in 2011. The label utilizes restored loopwheeler machines from the early 20th century to produce seamless garments. It holds significance for preserving industrial textile heritage and gained contemporary cultural prominence through its association with authentic mid-century garment reproduction.
