Modegeschichte
Yasuko Furuta founded the parent label Toga in Tokyo in 1997, later introducing Toga Pulla as a specialized collection. Furuta, a graduate of Esmod Paris, integrated her background in costume design into the brand's identity. Toga Pulla gained international recognition for its distinctive footwear, particularly the metal-buckled western boots. The brand is historically significant for bridging the gap between Japanese conceptualism and accessible, street-oriented vintage aesthetics within the global fashion landscape.
